Relaxes Muscles & Nerves, Supports Restful Sleep
Kava has been used for more than 3,000 years by Pacific Islanders and is still used during gatherings and social events today, for weddings, traditional ceremonies, and health.
One of the things Kava is best known for is to help support restful sleep by reducing tension and restlessness and relaxing the muscles.
Kava causes a distinctive temporary numbing on the tongue that is unique to Kava. This is the kavalactones, constituents in Kava that make Kava do what it does best – calm and relax muscles while helping the mind stay clear and alert.
Cedar Bear’s Kava promotes relaxation and a mild sense of euphoria and has a similar effect on the body that alcohol has. Without the alcohol, of course! (Note: If you are prone to clinical depression, Kava may not be the herb for you.)
Kava calms the nervous system and helps it repair itself, helps improve mood, and helps the body handle stress better.
Kava has a strong antioxidant action and promotes healthy cell growth throughout the body and especially in the breast, colon, and prostate tissues.
