• TincTract® Single Herb Concentrates – Over 2,000 botanicals
are on CBN™ Schedule A ingredient list and over 300 are processed using CBN™ proven proprietary polyconstituent based ratio–intact synergy sparing multi-step TincTract® liquid-extraction technology. More botanicals are added every year
to this growing list. For Practitioner/Apothecary Dispensary-Based sales Cedar Bear Naturales™ processes and sells most
widely available botanicals in the marketplace as well as hard to source botanicals
available in limited quantities (so long as they are sustainable on both a commercial growth viability and species sustained basis) or those provided by an account themselves (according to stringent cGMP/HACCP and Kosher (Kashrus) standards).
All Schedule A ingredients based Cedar Bear Naturales™ TincTract® processed single herb concentrates are fully Kosher Certified (OU recognized) and manufactured under stringent FDA cGMP and HACCP compliant standards. Ingredients include being USP grade, and vegan and halal compliant. TincTract® liquid herbal concentrate singles are clean, safe, totally alcohol-free (no alcohol is ever used) and possess a potency and flavor-rich quality unmatched by any other of this product type in the industry.
Concerning herb-to-fluid ratios (herb/fluid): As has been addressed and elucidated in the Herbs-To-Fluid Ratio Issue document link on this website, the herb-to-fluid ratio listings as loosely utilized in the liquid herbal products industry at large are based on a conceptual abstraction that is independent of any standardized essential considerations such as extractive solvent used, extractive methodology, etc. In other words, absent of an industry-wide standard that takes all aspects of a products manufacture into consideration across the board, herb-to-fluid ratio equations are poor indicators of intrinsic finished product quality. The highly variable extraction methodologies used at large in the industry alone highlights this factor. In other words, there is currently no overriding agreed to or adhered to trustworthy industry-wide standard for defining what an herb-to-fluid ratio for a specific product is, given the numerous mitigating and technological considerations that should determine the actual basis from which such claims are made.
Even so, In 2008 CBN™ Unit was able to ascertain an herb-to-fluid ratio 'equivalency' based on a mathematical extrapolation of comparative lab analysis for extractive efficiency of active constituents present and extensive clinical feedback of comparative dosages, thus establishing an 'equivalency' for stating a viable meta herb-to-fluid ratio. From this extrapolation it has been determined that 'Genuine TincTract® Made' liquid herbal concentrates represent a 5/1 (5-to-1) herb/fluid (herb-to-fluid) ratio equivlancy. Strong true to herb taste, ratio/synergy-intact driven potency and consistent clinical-based efficacy all attest to a high herb to fluid ratio equivalency.
TincTract® liquid herbal concentrate singles are used in Cedar Bear Naturales™ own unique lineup of TincTract® retail brand formulas (and a growing base of store 'your name here' - private label - bulk ingredient - contract manufacturing accounts) where they have been subjected to practitioner and clinical use since 1982!
Further, select formulas that contain the same TincTract® singles offered in the Practitioner/Apothecary Dispensary-Based Sales Program have been subjected to independent 3rd party lab analysis (review analysis–A or analysis–B) ascertaining the extractive efficiency of the totally alcohol-free TincTract® extraction process and to actual clinical-based pilot studies and trials, all resulting in outstanding results.
