Providential Beginnings
In the early 1970's LoR. Caarl (L. Carl) Robinson (before becoming a highly sought for clinical & formulary herbalist) had the opportunity of
traveling abroad where he learned and experienced the healing traditions
of indigenous cultures. One of those experiences included
a Polynesian mentor who taught him many things about energetic forces of nature, natural healing
and 'listening' to the healing message of herbs. While studying biochemistry, physiology and herbalism several years
later, back home in America's Mountain West in the winter
of 1982, as he contemplated those early teachings that had
been shared with him it all came together in a single moment
as a lucid epiphany.
From this epiphany Mr. Robinson conceived
of a 4-fold Galenic-based 'Model For Life™,' a paradigm, i.e. universal template, that enabled him
to conceive the science based concept of a totally 100% true alcohol-free standardized approach to making potent and efficacious nutritive based liquid herbal glycerite
products called 'herbal concentrates' due to their biologically viable ratio-intact synergy spared poly-constituent nature.
Mr. Robinson then conceived a unique multi-step serialized process
that was based on the Model For Life™ paradigm, what he had observed
in nature, and had noted in his science-based studies and the then
growing industry of herbal product companies he would become an Industry
Insider to. By mid 1982 Mr. Robinson came up with the
trade name, TincTract®, a contraction of the words TINCture
and exTRACT, to describe this unique processing technology.
The standardized TincTract® process, now in its 6th generation of proprietary trade secret enhancements and improvements, is extensive, multi-facated and includes aspects found in tincturing and extracting as well as other lesser known but highly efficient processes and proprietary considerations – all combined into the TincTract® brand process. The "Genuine TincTract® Made" products are the only TincTract® liquid herbal products approved and endorsed by LoR. Caarl (L. Carl) Robinson, originator of the genuine TincTract® process.
Expanding on the TincTract® concept the proprietary RAPID RESPONSE™ 2-6-8 and SynerJuice® processes and other innovative trade secreted processing technologies (most recently the Pureodine™ transformative nano-colloidal process) have been developed for specific product needs and applications.
Building A Solid Foundation
Mr. Robinson continued formal, proprietary and personal studies in biological sciences (biochemistry and physiology), integrative therapies and clinical/formulary herbalism
with degrees, certifications and/or licensing in clinical based integrative complementary
health care endeavors. In the ensuing years
of being an industry insider, independent consultant to the herbal products industry, clinician and
writer/instructor, he was always extensively involved
in custom formulating herbal compounds for his clients, associates
and large herbal products companies. (Which is why he is referred to as both a 'Clinical' AND 'Formulary' herbalist.)
There are also the other
individuals who have worked from time to time with Mr. Robinson and Cedar Bear
Naturales™ and each have made their own positive contribution. They have had a profound and positive influence on the
forward momentum of the company. For example, Mr. Robinson's
wife and business partner, Jhoane, has been the most
important supporters of this endeavor and is herself an accomplished herbalist in her own right and Chairman of Cedar Bear
Naturales™. Seth Forster, our Systems Engineer & Chief Master Processor and James Robinson, our consulting Technical Engineer, have made invaluable contributions to the generational enhancements and improvements of our processing technologies.
Timely input and
important contributions from others were made that includes:
a fellow herbalist/former president of the American Herbalists Guild, who co-developed the original 1st generation TincTract™ process; a talented Systems Engineer who previously worked with large multi-national corporations, classified military and government projects with an eye to quality
assurance detail that is reflected in our extensive cGMP/HACCP compliant standards; and
